Teamspeak Tutorial (Recommended to read!)

It is strongly recommended to read this topic even thou you know it all, but continue reading the tutorial will not be nessecary!

We've finally got a stable Teamspeak 24/7 host, but the only problem is no-one is so active on it. How become? This topic is going to cover the basic usage of Teamspeak 2, how to register and some other basic usefull things to know for people that is not used to use Teamspeak.

A few things before moving on, the Terms of Membership actually says you will have to (MUST) have Teamspeak 2 downloaded and be active on it. Being active doesnt mean you need to be there all the time, but why not just connect when you're on Xfire? There is many channels there where you can put yourself if you want to be alone with your work or own business.
There is currently not going to be any action from point of, but I can see in the future that a consequence will be followed. Please obey this term aswell as all the others.

Please do not blame on the quality of Teamspeak, we know about it. Like I say, aslong it's used for gaming the quality doesn't matter that much, unless you're going to talk in hours with friends about other things (like Skype). If you have been a good boy and followed the Suggestions topic on our old forum, you will know that we are getting Teamspeak 3 as soon as possible, and this blows Ventrilo far away!

And for no matter what reason, if you have to download it again, this is important:

Step 1 - Connection
Go ahead and start up Teamspeak 2 (if you havn't already) after the installation is completed. On the top left corner there is a "Connection" button, this is as it say itself, connection to a server. Click on Connection and continue to Connect (Connectiong ›› Connect).

Step 2 - Adding Server
You'll see that a new window pops up, this step is probably the easiest one of them all, but who said Teamspeak wasn't easy?
Go ahead, and right click somewhere in the white area, where it says "--Servers", and continue on "Add Server", and name it something like THC.

Step 3 A - Join as Anonymous
If this is the first time joining our Teamspeak server, you will have to join as Anonymous also called Guest. After getting the permission to register within the server, you can later on use your login name and password to access our server (See Step 3 B)

Step 3 B - Join as Registered
After getting the permission to register you can login with your username and password as you used when you registered (See Step 4)

Step 4 - Registering
When you have got the permission to register, you can go on the button that says "Self" and down to "Register With Server" (Self ›› Register With Server).
Type in the name you're using ingame, and choice a password and keep the password to yourself. Don't give it out to anyone, including the admins. Contact me (Get!Smert) if problems with the password (forgotten?)
